New York Fashion Week takes place twice a year in February and September where international designers show their collections to buyers, press, and the general public. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) created the modern notion of a centralized “New York Fashion Week” in 1993. The following photos were taken for The New York Times between 2016-2018. Designer shows included are: Chromat, Cinq a Sept, Collina Strada, Jason Wu, Jeremy Scott, Novis, Philipp Plein, and Public School.
